Weapon families
The Blacksmith at your ranch forges weapons for your Zodikin. Each family boosts different stats:

Twinclaw Gauntlets split their power across both attacks, which suits a Zodikin that uses physical and zodiac moves.
Forging
Weapons come in four qualities: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Starforged. A forge costs 
800 Gold and 
5 Star Ore, and a weapon can be improved up to 20 steps.
